Clear Weather for Mr and Mrs Green's Birthday

Excellent unseasonal warmth for our brithday celebrations this week, low 70s. I celebrated on my birthday on Veterans Day, November 11th and my spouse on the 13th. Days before the 11th, continuous rain influenced by Tropical Storm Ida ; concerned local communities in regard to repeat flooding in declared disaster areas in Georgia that had been visited by Vice President Joe Biden about six weeks ago. In my neighborhood, there are lots of trees which has been the flood control factor that saved our gardens from being washed away in late September and the early part of this week. My community, as well as many others in Georgia; had been under restricted outdoor watering schedules for the last several years, due to drought conditions. The last time I remember it being this warm was in 1978. I lived about 200 miles south of my current address at that time. The average temperature was in the upper 60s to mid 70s right on through the end of 1978. We are saving on the cost of heating our home and the cost of watering garden and landscape, due to the extended unseasonable warm days and extra rainfall.
