Computer Glitch at JFK Airport
In the mist of travelers via airports, the last thing they need is added inconvenience. It is bad enough that many former plane travelers dropped from the roles out of concern for their safety; having to be subjected to search humility and rising costs of air travel. Computer glitches are added concerns. A sea of luggage at JFK International Airport had to be searched, sorted and loaded manually, because the computer that reads bar codes on tagged luggage was out-of-order. American Airlines delayed four dozen flights and cancelled about a half-dozen, Wednesday, July 30, 2008, which spawned anger in thousands of passengers. Many were concerned about leaving their luggage behind in order to board flights approved to take-off.
