Home Owners - Loss Mitigation
I attended a Webinar for an on-line company called Freedom Foreclosure Prevention Services, LLC [FFPS]. This company is unique for they offer mitigation to homeowners who are in or in danger of facing foreclosure. Consultants are trained by the company, tuition is 100% tax deductible and while in training, new recruits can earn while they learn. Consultants, has on-line tools to process leads and track closures by certified professionals. What impressed me most about FFPS from the perspective of a homeowner who may be in foreclosure status or in danger of facing foreclosure are as follows: * no upfront fees to review homeowners' current mortgage status
* homeowner is not refinancing, consolidating debt, nor baited into a "short sale"
* negotiations for restructuring an agreeable payment plan between the homeowner and finance institution is generated from 'net income' not gross income
* FICO nor credit scores are considered in mitigation negotiations
* upside down mortgages are also reviewed for possible mitigation
* the homeowner can learn if (s)he can be helped by FFPS in a couple of days - FREE! The purpose of this company is to quell the rate of forclosures throughout the USA and help the homeowner prevent losing his/her home.
