McCain bails out on University of Mississippi scheduled Debate
Today, John McCain side-steps Friday's scheduled presidential debate at the University of Mississippi. He is using the excuse of having to return to Washington, D.C. to help out the Administration's proposal, which he belives will not pass. It has been previously discovered that McCain's own campaign manager has been heavily involved with matters that has lead to the downfall of Freddie Mac, whom McCain defended as not being involved as recently as this past Sunday. McCain's urgency to return to Washington, D.C. has more to do with personal campaign issues (possibly campaign fraud) more than the Administrations' financial bail out proposal. Since both will probably have limited input, due to former executives attached to both candidates campaigns and the failing financial institutions; Fridays' scheduled debate should not be delayed nor postponed. McCain should not be allowed to delay, delay, delay, with less than 40 days left til election day. As self-labeled Maverick, McCain you should be advised ~ this is a serious election, not a comedy-western. |
