Medical Rush to Declare Dead
Too often, hospital admittance for individuals closely relates to a death sentence. The coldness to push for pre-admission paperwork "just in case of death" often scares me to believe this paper work also covers medical blunders. Just because medical professionals are considered experts; they are as human as the any other in the human race. They suffer from sleep deprivation; depression; drug abuse (professionally impaired); confusion and they also forget things too. The safety net; alledgedly, is the presence of other professionals as well as interns; however, if the head surgeon is "politically connected" to the careers of "other professionals" (s)he pretty much can have any personal blunder dissolve in memory as if it did not happen. ___________________________________ Personal Reflection: Pray to the science that scientist can not explain ~~~~~~~ Creator of the Heavens and the Earth and all that dwells on Earth as well as the unknown to mankind on Earth! ___________________________________ My Aunt Mary Lizzie had flat-lined several times, prior to her permanent surmise. She called the ambulance herself; last October 2007. She had been on oxygen at home for several years and was diagnosed with lung cancer. My aunt personally called the ambulance to take her to the emergency room; when she could not convince family members she was in trouble. She was admitted and was given weeks to live. She lived longer than several months; recovered to the point of release to a nursing home. She would be admitted to the hospital and released to the nursing home several times before she surmised in April 2008; however, the several occassions from October 07 to April 08; when she flat-lined, she recovered with full mental alertness and speech. It was not present; however, family and staff still talk about her last days revelations and how she sang til her last breath. My aunt was well-known in the community for being a hard worker, performing a variety of jobs from working cab dispatcher to cleaning bricks. She was born with a clef right foot. She made the majority of her clothes with a needle and thread, even though she owned several sewing machines, she insisted on hand-stitching every seam; button hole and zipper. _____________________________________ The following are summaries of incidents where patients were declared dead: Dear Mrs. Eadie: My husband died in 1975. Before his actual death, his doctors pronounced him dead three times. They were astonished to witness his return to life each time with a clear mind and filled with energy, even though he was dying of terminal cancer and old age. At the hospital, the nurses began to call him among themselves "the man who wouldn't die." All this is recorded in the hospital records. BOISE, Idaho (May 28) - A hospital worker preparing a drowned toddler for a funeral home noticed the boy was breathing - more than an hour after he had been pronounced dead. Felicita's death and revival, which are being considered by villagers as a message from God, began on Saturday morning at 9. It was reported that Guizábalo fainted and stopped breathing. Family members immediately called a doctor for assistance. Felicita, who has stomach cancer, had gone to see a doctor one day earlier for a check up. According to family members, the doctor that saw her after she fainted pronounced that Felicita Guizábalo had died and that there was nothing that could be done. It was reported that when family members were placing the cold body in a coffin several hours later, to her relatives' surprise and joy - especially her four children, Felicita opened her eyes . JERUSALEM -- A stillborn Israeli baby who was pronounced dead by doctors "came back to life" on Monday after spending hours in a hospital refrigerator. The baby, weighing only 600 grams at birth, spent at least five hours inside one of the hospital's refrigerated storage units, before her parents, who had taken her to be buried, began noticing some movement. . Rev. George Rodonaia underwent one of the most extended cases of a near-death experience ever recorded. Pronounced dead immediately after he was hit by a car in 1976, he was left for three days in the morgue. He did not "return to life" until a doctor began to make an incision in his abdomen as part of an autopsy procedure. Prior to his NDE he worked as a neuropathologist. He was also an avowed atheist. Yet after the experience, he devoted himself exclusively to the study of spirituality, taking a second doctorate in the psychology of religion. He then became an ordained priest in the Eastern Orthodox Church. He served as a pastor at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Baytown, Texas. ______________________________ |
