Congratulations! President Barack Obama and 1st Family. On October 30, 2008, my spouse and I voted early. I was elated to electronically touch the screen that displayed Obama Biden President ~ Democrat. I shall always charish my voter sticker for election 2008. I am so proud of the election process this year and the struggle of this historic ocassion ~ 44th President of the United States of America My spouse wanted ONLY to vote for president; however, I encouraged him to at leaset vote for the Democratic ticket to give (at that time HOPFULLY) Mr. Obama the help He needs to take care of "the people's business". Today, I am proud I voted though confused as to how Georgia became "red" during the election process. I suspect 10s of thousands of voters, who ONLY VOTED FOR PRESIDENT got disconnected for the "presidental tally" ~ I strongly believe ALL VOTES in Georgia for the 44th President of the United States was not included in the media's report, during the election process. DeKalb and Fulton County Georgia made history for early vote participation; however, tallies showing for popular vote for both presidental candidates does not reflect "historic turnout". I believe they are a couple hundred thousand votes short. Local news showed "video processing" of votes, in the registrars office, where workers were editing votes that were "tagged" alledged "erroneous distributed ballots by the registrar's office" that were mailed back. Hmmmm, and further refusal of Republican Saxby Chambliss to claim victor over Democrat Jim Martin for a seat in Congress. I suspect this has something to do with "votes" that ONLY VOTED FOR PRESIDENT If these votes were not counted, I think an explanation should be shared with Citizens of Georgia. |
